DAY 1 STOCKHOLM

Arrive into Stockholm airport, where you will be met by your private transfer and be taken to the majestic Grand Hotel, the first of many opulent stays on your tour of Scandinavia. Take the rest of the day to relax or take a short stroll along the waterfront to see some of the city’s most famous sights. In the evening, enjoy the company of your travellers as you experience food for royalty at Stadshuska?llaren, the restaurant responsible for events at Stockholm City Hall. Tonight, you will enjoy a three-course dinner identical to one that was served at the Nobel Banquet, which takes place after the Nobel Peace Prize. D

DAY 2 STOCKHOLM

Europe is famous for many old towns, and arguably one of the finest is Gamla Stan. Dating back 750 years and home to some of Stockholm’s most famous architectural landmarks including the Royal Palace, the leaning medieval buildings of Stortorget and Stockholm Cathedral. In the morning, a local guide will bring these striking buildings to life as you learn about the city’s past. Rest of the day is at your own leisure, in the company of the wonderful city of Stockholm. B

DAY 3 STOCKHOLM – VADSTENA

As cosmopolitan Stockholm is left behind, enjoy the contrast as you drift into the nature of Sweden’s Lake District, where the population is sparse, making way for nature’s finest – alpine landscapes and wildlife. Also famous for its castles, enjoy a tour of Gripsholm Castle, built during the Renaissance and once a residence of the Swedish Royal family. Complemented by lunch at a historic inn, your
day will finish with an overnight stay in an old monastery, pristinely located on the shoreline of a lake. BLD

DAY 4 VADSTENA – GOTHENBURG

Your journey across the Swedish Lake District continues as a stop in Gra?nna, located on the shores of Lake Va?ttern to try Polkagirs, a traditional sweet created in the town in 1859. Continuing

your culinary journey through the region, our drive takes us to the southern point of Lake Va?ttern to Jonkoping, where a local guide will help you explore the surrounding forest where you will be met with a range of local delicacies for a picnic. Onward travel to the coastal Gothenburg, famous for its Dutch- style canals where an orientation of the city awaits before enjoying a summer evening in this coastal gem. BL

DAY 5 GOTHENBURG – OSLO

Before leaving Sweden and crossing the border to Norway, we visit Marstrand, and its neighbouring island that is home to the famous Carlstens Fortress, built on royal orders and has witnessed sieges from Sweden’s neighbours. After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, we continue towards Oslo, where a late afternoon arrival will free the evening for your own exploration. Tonight, check in to Oslo’s most famous and luxurious hotel, Hotel Continental. Be sure to look at the guests of honour that are dotted with photos around Hotel Continental’s famous Theatercafeen, an icon of Oslo’s social scene. BL

DAY 6 OSLO

The Norwegian capital has lots to be seen, and you can encompass it all on a city tour of Oslo. Take
in the contemporary Opera House, the unique sculptures of Gustav Vigeland in the world famous Vigeland Sculpture Park and a guided tour of the new National Gallery, to see arguably the most famous painting from Norway, ‘The Scream’ by Edvard Munk. The afternoon is yours to enjoy in this wonderful capital city. B

DAY 7 OSLO – TRONDHEIM

Privately transferred to Oslo airport to fly to Trondehim, perched on the winding coast of central Norway, this historic city is famous for its Viking history and being the ancient capital of Norway until 1217. Upon arrival, we check into arguably the finest hotel in Norway, Britannia Hotel. Recently opening its doors again after renovations that have brought this regal hotel, once hosting Queen Elizabeth II, teeming back to life. A local guide will then take you touring around the city, including Bakklandet, the old town famous for its wooden stilted houses and to Nidaros Cathedral, the finest medieval cathedral in Norway. Home to the relics of St. Olav, a Norwegian King and national hero, you will witness the cathedral’s crypt, housing a collection of medieval tombstones. Tonight, you will dine at Fagn, featured in the Michelin Guide, to taste their ten-course degustation menu, complimented with wine, for the ultimate culinary experience to end your day. BD

DAY 8 TRONDHEIM

After a morning at leisure, today you will enjoy a journey on the historic Gra?kallbanen, the world’s northernmost tram line offering incredible views of the city. Our group will enjoy its own vintage tram for the journey. Ending at Bymarka, a nature reserve overlooking Trondheim, where you will enjoy lunch and time to explore the surroundings before travelling back into town. BL

DAY 9 TRONDHEIM – A?LESUND

After breakfast, today will take you to the sights of mountains and fjords as we journey to the marble mines of Eide. Upon arrival, enjoy a private boat ride to a truly unique location for lunch. No journey to county Møre og Romsdal is complete without driving on the famous Atlantic Road.  This 8 kilometer stretch of ‘Country Road 64’, runs through the archipelago of Eide. There will never be another road you will journey across quite like this one. Our journey takes us through A?lesund before we arrive to the secluded Storfjord Hotel. Perched on a wooded hillside, this boutique hotel enjoys stunning views of the Storfjorden, the perfect place to experience tranquillity and relaxation after your three-course dinner paired with wines of the chef’s personal choosing. DAY 10 ALESUND – GEIRANGER

After you spend the morning views of the Storrfjorden, we enjoy a short drive to A?lesund, where a local guide will navigate the streets lined with Art Nouveau buildings to paint the colourful history of this beautiful city. The area around A?lesund is home to a fascinating way of life, enjoy a glimpse of this when you catch the local ferry from Hellesylt to the UNESCO heritage listed Geirangerfjord. Along the fjord itself, famous for its sharp turns, waterfalls and steep cliffs, witness some of the finest nature Norway has to offer. Nestled in a cradle of cliffs at the end of the fjord itself, is the fjords name patron, Geiranger. A short journey up to the historic Hotel Union, where you will enjoy panoramic views of the fjord and, if you wish, world-class spa treatments. First however, the owner of this majestic property will welcome you with a drink and a private tour of the hotel’s vintage car collection, which includes some very valuable rarities. BLD

DAY 11 GEIRANGER

There will be time to enjoy the gorgeous morning ambience of the fjord before we drive up the famous Trollstigen, The Trolls Road for lunch. A serpentine road, winding itself around the majestic mountain landscapes, you will enjoy lunch near the famous viewing platform, there will be time, of course, to take a stroll to truly enjoy the views. The fjords in the Sunnmøre region are renowned for their farms, perched on the mountain sides and serve as a historic tribute to a remote way of life. In the afternoon, you will visit Møllstunet, dating back to the 16th century, a protected cluster of small farmhouses above Geirangerfjord, where you hear stories about the buildings and the people who lived here from the owners themselves. DAY 12 GEIRANGER – LOEN

Enjoy your final morning in Geiranger as we take the main road out of the village, which quickly ascends to 1500 meters above sea level within minutes. Our drive today takes us to the charming village of Loen, nestled between Innvikfjorden and Lake Lovatnet. Upon arrival, we cruise along the pristine waters of the lake to enjoy lunch. Loen is nestled at the bottom of a glacier, which the region is famous for. After lunch you will visit Kjendall Glacier, which sits at the tip of Lake Lovatnet. To get there, you will walk through Kjenndal Valley, an offering of truly untamed nature. The rest of your day will be at leisure to enjoy Loen and the surroundings or maybe taking a dip in the pool of the idyllic Hotel Alexandra, where you will spend the night. BLD

DAY 13 LOEN – BERGEN

At the heart of the fjordlands of Norway sits Fla?m. The town is famous for the Fla?msbana, the 20 kilometer long railway that opened up in 1940, connecting the two major fjord systems to the
Oslo to Bergen line. This is now known as one of the most scenic rail journeys in the world. Leading up to Myrdal, the views are simply breathtaking as you witness the sheer vastness of the surrounding landscape. Upon arrival into Myrdal, we continue on to Bergen where we check into the opulent Hotel Opus XVI, a stunning luxury hotel in a historic building, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and famous amongst the locals for its afternoon tea. DAY 14 BERGEN

Bergen, Norway’s second largest city, surely will charm you today as your guided walk through the city will take you to the UNESCO listed Bryggen. A true unique experience for lunch, as a short
drive out to the home of Edvard Greig, the famous Norwegian composer, to enjoy a short private recital before returning to Bergen where your afternoon will be spent at your own leisure. In the evening, another culinary treat as we cruise along the idyllic coastline to Cornelius, a seafood restaurant nestled on the waterfront where a three-course dinner will be served. BLD

DAY 15 BERGEN – STAVANGER

We will journey south today to Stavanger for our overnight ferry to Denmark, we will stop for lunch at Haugesund, where a RIB boat will take us to an island where a lighthouse stands, protecting boats from the rugged coastline. You will learn about the lighthouse, it’s history and enjoy lunch before you return to Haugesund before reaching Stavanger in late afternoon in time for the ferry to Denmark. BLD

DAY 16 HIRTSHALS – DRAGSHOLM

We arrive into Denmark and drive to its second largest city, Aarhus. Famous for several museums, you will enjoy a private guided tour of the Aarhus Art Museum and the Moesgaard Museum, before we arrive to what will be a very memorable overnight stay. Dragsholm Castle has its origins in the 13th century, before the middle ages where the original palace was modified into a fortified castle. Tonight, bask in the history as you overnight in the historic chambers of the castle. You will dine like royalty as a five-course menu is served by its Michelin star awarded restaurant in the royal chambers of the castle. BD

DAY 17 DRAGSHOLM – COPENHAGEN

Departing Dragsholm Castle, we continue the theme of royalty as we stop in Roskilde, once the capital
of Denmark and home to the Roskilde Cathedral, where the Kings and Queens of Denmark have been buried for centuries. You will tour the cathedral before visiting the Viking Ship Museum, offering a truly unique experience of witnessing Viking ships firsthand, as five original 11th century ships were excavated in nearby Roskilde Fjord in 1962. Soon after, we will arrive at Ferderiksborg Castle, the finest Renaissance castle in Scandinavia, where you will enjoy a lunch next to the castle and a guided tour of this magnificent royal residence. A short drive will have us arrive into Copenhagen. You will feel like a royal yourself as you check into Nobis Hotel, housed in a neoclassical building once home to the Royal Danish Academy of Music. The hotel is in short walking distance to the main sights of Copenhagen, leaving the evening at leisure to see the Tivoli Gardens, or take a further stroll over to the famous 17th century harbour, Nyhavn, which will surely be a hub of activity on summer nights. DAY 18 COPENHAGEN

Scandinavia is famous for its design and is home
to famous world-wide known brands, after a short guided tour of the city centre, you will arrive at one of Royal Copenhagen’s workshops, where you will learn about the art of porcelain painting, including making your very own creation. The rest of your afternoon is yours to explore Copenhagen before our final culinary delight, dining at Michelin star awarded Restaurant Kadeau, enjoying their distinct menu with accompanying wines, the perfect way to finish your luxurious journey across Scandinavia. DAY 19 COPENHAGEN

After breakfast, your tour of Scandinavia ends with a private transfer from your hotel to the airport for your onward travel. B
